I've started to notice something both hopeful and annoying. I have a serious amount of hobbies, for which I actually have no time at all taking my crazy ass college classes into account, but I noticed that practice gets more fun once you actually get good at something. For example, I've been playing guitar for about 3-4 years now, but I've never had a teacher. I started lessons in August and I actually enjoy doing random exercises now.
I think the same goes for painting, drawing and writing and almost every hobby. It's the beginning that is really hard. Not only because well... Every beginning is hard, but because you actually have to cope with sucking every time you try something out. And I guess that really is the hard part, staying motivated. By writing this I hope to actually motivate myself to keep picking up my pencil and try to make progress. Let's see where I stand next time shall we?
